Though choosing sobriety is healthier choice for everyone, why is it so hard? The challenges of sobriety include managing uncomfortable feelings without numbing them, going against the cultural norms of alcohol being celebratory, overcoming the thought of boredom, and having to find new outings & friendships with people who support you. It's not easy in this world where drinking is part of almost every outing to say no to alcohol even though the benefits far outweigh the downside. Let's talk about it....
